To help their students stand out in the highly competitive work-study market, schools must find new ways to showcase their talents beyond the traditional CV.

IGS-RH encouraged all its students seeking a work-study placement to create their secure pitch on the 2 Minutes MAX platform. To support them in this distinctive approach, the Corporate Relations team watched every student’s 2’MAX video and, when needed, offered constructive feedback for improvement.

The result: authentic, engaging applications that spark the interest of recruiting companies — with strong, and in some cases even impressive, outcomes for candidates who found a placement within just a few weeks!

When recruiting for a marketing role on a high-profile brand, it’s crucial to handle a large number of applications efficiently. The challenge is to stay both responsive and selective — without missing out on strong candidates or slowing down the process with multiple calls and interviews involving all recruitment stakeholders.

Qwetch chose to invite 25 candidates to enhance their CV with a 2’MAX video.
The result: within just a few days, 21 candidates responded — presenting their personality and expectations in under two minutes. These short videos gave both the HR Director and potential future managers a clear sense of who they were.
Among the four candidates invited for interviews, the one who was ultimately hired — and has since been confirmed in her role — might not have been selected based on her CV alone.

Once the deadline had passed, the selection process was completed in just a few days. The exercise also helped students clarify their goals and prepare to pitch their work-study applications to companies.
